Speaking as a man, and in the interest of any/all men in your life, let me recommend augmentation until the bra fits. :D
Whats really finny about this is when we were shopping for a strapless corset for my wedding dress i went to get fitted at "dawns bra-tique" but my husband only ever heard me say it and assumed it was "don's bra-tique" and was really wondering why i was going to let Don grab my boobies :rofl1:.

I buy bras whenever I can get them to fit me, im a 40J...so i buy them few and far between.

Yeah, don't doubt yourself too quickly. I'm gonna share a photo (you asked, Eddie, LOL). It's NSFW, but it's just me in bras, lol.

I thought I was a 40DDD. I gave myself more room in the band just to fit the boobs in the bra. Perhaps an extreme example, but that was the highest bra I could buy cheap in department stores.

I've been sharing this photo around despite it being a bit revealing, because not a lot of people "get" the fact that a bra can actually fit perfectly if you're fitted correctly. That 36H bra in the pic is pretty ugly (it was my first; all my brastop bras are super cute) but it fits like a dream.

At what point does a D turn to an F in the US???

We have DD but that's it, then you're an F.
US bra sizes are completely ludicrous. Every bra manufacturer sizes differently using different criteria and different names for the same sizes. I gave up. LOL. The UK sizing system makes a hundred times more sense, and still isn't far off from the US sizes so it's not confusing.

I want that kind of a fit! I think I need a cup size bigger than the DDDs because the middle part of the bra doesn't fit next to my sternum It's close but just not quite.

I didn't get a chance to buy measuring tape (I can't find mine) but I hope to tomorrow!

I have nothing constructive to add, but wow there are a lot of large chested women on chaz! Sadly, my own girls are but a humble B cup, but at least I don't need to leash my dogs up for daily use. Bras? Those are for visiting family and going out to dinner. I'm classy, I know :p

Allie, I can visibly see where your first bra doesn't fit right but my underwire seems to fit snuggly all around. I sometimes get quad boob but with the right cut I don't lol.

BUT I am currently wearing a 38 and need to go down to a 36 so I probably need up a cupsize at least but i am measuring like 4 inches above my current cup size lol. I need to find where i can try a J. I really don't want to buy one until i am convinced lol.

Now my bra I use for exercise (not a sports bra but a minimizer regular bra) seems to fit great.

I'm envious of all you big-boobed babes. I'm cursed with tiny tits and a massive she-hulk ribcage. I'm a 40B. When my weight loss is done I'll probably be a 40A. How the hell does that happen? :p

Bra shopping is difficult for me, as well... It's hard to find a cute pushup bra in a B cup that doesn't cut off at a 34-36. I have resorted to wearing a 38 but I have to be careful with my shirt choices, since I get back rolls when I wear them!

oh man i feel everyones pain. im a 36 DDD, but i have such tiny shoulders that i absolutely have to get the racerback style, and have you EVER tried to find a bra bigger than a C cup in front hook/racerback? its like the loch ness monster

i buy mine on ebay, if its a brand im unsure of i get the cheapest ones in 2 or 3 different sizes (36 and 38, DD and DDD), and then whatever one fits when they arrive, i go back and order 5 more and wear them until they fall apart

i second lane bryant, have you also tried Fashion Bug/Avenue/Torrid?
