Some more breed guesses

Make Diesel a solid light gold with one blue eye, and he would look like the purebred Golden that was in our Rally classes. Yeah, seriously. She got him through rescue but he originally came from a pet store. BUT- honestly, I'll guess GSD mix (his head looks very GSD to me). I want to say mixed with Toller, but I don't know how popular Tollers are by you. If they aren't popular, he could have some Golden in him, maybe Collie too.
I would say GSD cross for Diesel. Maybe with golden? I'm not really sure. He's sort of reminiscent of my GSD/Golden but not exactly. I think there's something else in there, but I do see GSD.
I think Annabelle is a good old mutt. Lab, maybe shepherd, pit, terrier. Probably a mix of a mix.
Bella- hound mix?
Simon- I can't decide about houla mix or Aussie mix, but I'll go with Aussie. I'm not sure why.

Bella - Bluetick Coonhound mix
Simon - Am Leopard Hound mix (United Kennel Club: American Leopard Hound (Revised January 1, 2009)) or Catahoula mix

Annabell: Pit bull-type mix MAYBE... need a better angle and head shot.
Bella: Bad angles on photos, but depending on size, proportions, and temperament, could be a hound mix or could be Australian cattle dog mix. If you have a lot of bird dogs in your area, could be English setter mix.
Simon: Catahoula mix or Aussie mix. Not a pure 'houla as the fur is a little too long. Hard to say in photos but could very well be Aussie x lab, and I say that by looking at the thick tail and the head.

They could have done a much better job at figuring out what breeds they have in them. Diesel looks nothing like an afghan hound. He looks like a shepherd mix. I also see a lot of toller in him. Annabell looks like a pit bull mix. Simon could possibly be a purebred catahoula leopard dog. Bella looks like either a bluetick or a blue heeler, mixed with maybe jack russel. It's hard to tell what Star is because the pics not show the whole body, but she could possibly be Lab and GSD mix. Sorry if I'm way off! Hope this helps you.
They are all really awesome dogs. Everyone except Annabell and Star have homes. Annabell is simply an obnoxious puppy that loves to chew on you NON-STOP, and it's turning people off. However I found that she actually responds to yelping and is really easy to redirect, get her to tug with you and she'll just carry the tug toy around instead of eating you. She barks a lot in the kennel too.
Star is just really big and she jumps, if she were smaller it wouldn't bother people so much. She also barks at an ungodly decibel in the kennel. She has also proven to be very controlling of other dogs so she needs to be an only dog. I was thinking she might have some sighthound of some sort. She walks oddly, it's not abnormal, just not typical of most dogs and it's hard to explain.
