And the keys are ridiculously sticky underneath.

Is there anyway I can clean this myself, or should I take it to a shop and have them take it apart and clean it?

It's an Asus netbook, btw. Very tiny.

Every time I've tried to take keys off to clean under them, I end up breaking them :p

One of the dogs spilled something in my laptop before and I took the battery out, unplugged it, put it on its end (like an open book standing on end) and rinsed out the keyboard. But I don't really recommend that, even though it worked :rofl1:

Yeah, maybe if I'd been here when it happened (I was in the shower :p) I would have just rinsed it and hoped for the best since it was already wet.

Now that it's dry and I know it works, I'm hesitant to put water on it again lol.

I don't think I can take this keyboard off, it's not really that kind of keyboard unfortunately. I already wiped the keys down with a damp cloth, but that didn't really get under them of course. :p I wish there was some tool I could just stick under there and wiggle around to wash the keyboard.
