One of the cutest primates I know of :)

Unfortunately like many primate species also endangered...

Ok I'm terrified of monkeys and was kind of worried about what I was about to click on. But that's freaking cute.

The slow loris was my very favorite animal at the zoo when I was a child. Everyone thought I was weird. The other kids in class would always say, "Tiger!" or "elephant!" and I pulled this strange little monkey thing out of left field.

They are SO adorable, but, yes, have a toxic bite. They're "popular" (illegal) exotic pets in the Indo-Asian area and really suffer from the exotic pet trade.

I know all of this because my ex-boyfriend looked heavily into getting one, we used to watch videos of them all the time and some of them look quite tame (try "Slow Loris gets tickled") but then found out they don't do well in captivity.

I think they're adorable :)

I've heard that their teeth are removed for the pet trade though :(
