Awwwww....isn't he adorable. I have heard of them and have seen them in the zoo here. It is so sad that they're endangered or some types, "vulnerable." There are some interesting facts here. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slow_loris Apparently, they're the only mammal that secretes a toxin.
The slow loris was my very favorite animal at the zoo when I was a child. Everyone thought I was weird. The other kids in class would always say, "Tiger!" or "elephant!" and I pulled this strange little monkey thing out of left field.
They are SO adorable, but, yes, have a toxic bite. They're "popular" (illegal) exotic pets in the Indo-Asian area and really suffer from the exotic pet trade.
I know all of this because my ex-boyfriend looked heavily into getting one, we used to watch videos of them all the time and some of them look quite tame (try "Slow Loris gets tickled") but then found out they don't do well in captivity.
