After testing over 100 dogs I found Sasha for our breeding program. She is a dual purpose police canine from Slovak Working Dogs Kennel in Slovakia. Thanks Marcel

She's beatiful! I bet her puppies would be wonderful.

I've noticed that the working dogs in your kennel don't have the exaggerated sloping back of the show German shepherd dogs. Is there a reason? Do working GSDs just not have that trait in the bloodlines? Or does the exaggerated slope affect their working ability?

All of them are DdR Slovak lines. They all come from a long line of working dogs. Miko is a mix between full Shepherd and Malinois. His dad is Argo, right now the best producing working stud dog in Europe. He is owned by Slovak Working Dogs (Marcel Dulansky). Last week when I was there I saw 5 6 month old Mal/Shepherd mixes that were awesome. There drives and intensity level was like nothing I have ever seen at that age.

Gorgeous!

I wonder, just out of curiosity, how these dogs would do if they were put on sheep or cattle, as they used to be/still are a herding-type breed.?
