Today Bailey (bcmoffatt) drove out here with her three dogs (Mochi, Kena and Tiku) to run with the boys. We had an AWESOME run!!! We ran a trail that neither of us had ever run before. I actually just discovered it this summer. I've walked it often with the boys but have never run it with sled or scooter. But the dogs were amazing! Everyone did their best

Here's a little video of my view LOL

Taking a short rest at our turn around point. Kena and Ronan in lead with OC in wheel (my team), Tiku, Mochi and Bailey.

Heading back, just before we entered the woods

Whee! Cool pictures! I'm really kicking myself for not taking the extra 5 minutes to mount my camera! Blaargh...

I noticed that Kena's mouth is open whining in almost every photo! :lol-sign:

Can't wait for next time!!

BTW- I walked into that metal barrier where we tied down. It didn't hurt when I did it because I was cold and numb. Now that I'm warmed up, I notice that I have a swollen, bruisey scratch on my thigh. I know I've had a good run when I've hurt myself! :)

The boys are nicely tuckered out. They've been napping ever since you took off LOL

They were contently tired, for a little bit...As soon as we got back to the house though, we put all 5 in the yard and they immediately started running around/playing! LOL

I need to figure out how to take some pictures from my point of view. Had a nice 8-12 inch snow this weekend, took the snowboard out of the shed, and WHAM! We only went about 2 miles just cruising the streets in town. Someone out there has some pictures of it. Great fun! It was a lot easier than I thought it would be. After tonight's predicted snow, I'm going to add the Saint and see what happens.
Oh, one tip: snowboards have sharp metal edges that duct tape can counter with ease.

Went snowboardjoring again this morning! The folks around my neighborhood are kind enough to give us the right of way, and a special thanks to the crossing gaurds who stopped traffic for us. A pickup with a lab in the bed was all the lure they needed to get me back home. Cruising along city streets at 15-18 mph in fresh powder is almost as good as some backcountry bowls. Now I'm gonna have to drop the coin to hit the hills, being that the mountains have gotten 10-12 feet in two weeks. Yeesh.
