Miniature horse!

We've been discussing getting a small pony or large mini for Cooper and Carson, as it would be better for them to learn horsemanship and for initial riding. I want them to learn to brush something other than legs. :rofl1:

I've been looking for the past 6 months, and really got frustrated recently when I found the most perfect little dun pony, only to have him be sold the night before we went to look at him (no, the owner failed to call and let us know they sold him before we drove an hour to check him out ).

Anyway, someone recommended this little guy to us, so we're going to check him out on Wednesday. The woman's son has outgrown him, and he has a mini/Shetland cross as well, so they're wanting to find a good home for this guy. Ain't he cute?

I'll post lots of pictures after we see him on Wednesday. The price is right for him, he's had routine vet care and farrier care, and they're even throwing in a little saddle for him as well since they're son has outgrown it.

So adorable!!! I was oooing and awwwing over the minis and ponies at our horse vaccination clinic this weekend.. I wanted to stick one in the back of my car and steal him. LOL
