The first episode of Outlander is out!! They released it online for an early preview, so people can decide to subscribe to Starz if they like it.

If anyone is interested in checking it out, its available here http://www.starz.com/originals/outlander (only works from USA though).

I have possibly never been so excited for a book adaptation! The first episode definitely starts out slowly, as does the book, but it's all working up to epic goodnes.

I would have watched, but I'm not spending money on a subscription for that channel just for a show, honestly. Do Stars show typically show up on Netflix?

It boggles my mind how many of my FB friends keep complaining about money issues but still watch Games of Thrones and are going to watch Outlander...

They may be pirating/streaming them. I "know" a lot of people who do not even have cable anymore , just internet and a chrome cast.

Just now getting around to watching season 2 of Legend of Korra, because apparently season 3 was intense and insane. So lots of cartoon watching in my future.

Also guys I am SO psyched about the Flash TV series. They keep showing commercials during football and seriously the only way I could be more excited would be if it were Wally West instead of Barry Allen... so. psyched. EEEEEE.

Tons of people torrent nowadays, so that's likely what they're doing. You can get TV episodes for free same-day. It's not legal, but it's usually down-low.

I believe GOT is the most pirated show on tv. Or at least one of them.

Season 3 was pretty good. It was kind of brutal for a Y7 show. Season 2 was... eh. I enjoyed it but felt it ended in a letdown. I kind of have felt that way abut all 3 seasons. But I liked season 3 much better than the first two. Though I still feel all 3 seasons are really great especially for a cartoon.

Season 3 has ZUKO though.

I agree. Though (keeping spoiler-free), I feel that the end of season 3 opens up for interesting plot points for season 4! I really hope there's an overarching deal happening here. Seems Korra is all about Boss-Of-The-Season, though overall the changes we see in their world are pretty awesome.

I've been wanting to watch Korra, but A:TLA is my favorite show of all time, so I have crazy high expectations. I keep hearing that it's good, especially the third season, but nowhere near as good as the original series, so I know I am going to be let down :p

I think the Boss of the Season is partly because Mike and Bryan got so screwed over with season 1. And they continually get screwed over by Nick it seems. It's almost like Nick wants them to fail.

I do wish it was more over-arching though.

Korra is not as good as avatar (is anything really?) but it's worth watching imo. The animation itself is stunning, just top notch. Some of the stuff in it is very interesting too. It's really taken me till season 3 to get to like the characters though. Avatar I loved practically everyone.

For me I enjoy LOK, but it's definitely not TLA. I think it's helpful that the "world" it's set in is quite a bit different in feel versus TLA, even though it's only been like 70 years or something - it's much more steampunk and modern. Some of the old characters show up and you have ties to the old story with relatives and such, but they have such minimal roles. It's definitely it's own show, so I don't really compare them to each other and try to measure one up to the other, it makes it easier to keep them kind of separate and compartmentalized.

I think it would have been much more challenging for them to have done some kind of continuation of Aang's storyline without people constantly comparing it. Having it be a different person's storyline set in a different era really helps.

I spent last night on my couch watching Torchwood, bawling like a baby, and cursing my friend who told me to watch it.

It was so disturbing and sad and ... something, that I had to turn it off and go take a walk. I'm trying to recover a bit before I watch the last season.

Yeesh. I don't usually get THAT wrapped up in shows.

Can I just add that I adore Tenzin and his family. They are my favorites.

And Mako has gotten a lot more tolerable this last season.

Yeah Torchwood is something else. The last season was made in the US and was disappointing though.

Still slowly going through Breaking Bad... we're somewhere towards the end of Season 3 now. Been watching Suits, Defiance, Under the Dome and Extant pretty much.
