Inspired by Whispers Millie.
Most dog people have a special place for older dogs, I figure we can celebrate their grey faces here.

Buster is 10 years old in a couple of months. I can't believe my little boy is getting so grown up.
Heres a photo of him from last week, he's getting the cutest round grey eyebrows. He's also going grey around his lips and in his ears, like any good old man should.

Buster is cute. :) I also have a Buster. ;) He will be 9 in January. He is a great dog, I just love him. The pictures of him in my signature are when he was younger. He can be a grumpy gills at times but he is a fun dog. I always joke that he's not a real coonhound because of his personality. :p

He doesn't get the urge to jump fences, he doesn't only work for food so he is easy to train but loves his food, but he does feel the need to counter-surf sometimes. He's always been a mellow dog come to think of it. I know a lot of people say hounds don't make good pets, but he does. He's easy to live with and he did come from parents with hunting lines. He has zero desire, though. We don't hunt any way.

And he lacks prey drive which is nice since we have cats. But, no dog will ever compare to him. He's a squishy, sweet boy but not always affectionate. He has never gave kisses even as a puppy. But he loves to be loved and we just love him a lot.

Puppy Buster:

Now. :)

Meg turns 8 next month. While she still enjoys going trail riding on nice days, running agility at trials, and going to the reservoir for frog hunting, she seems very content to have passed the "My mother is obsessed and won't stop training" torch to Gusto. She's given me all I could have ever hoped for, and more besides, as a competition dog, so now everything in her life is about what she feels like doing :D Heaven knows she's earned it.

This was from a couple of days ago when I took both dogs hiking in the hay meadows during a rare sunny moment in the autumn of non-stop rain.

Gavroche is only 5 but he;s already completely grey! ;)

Logan, on the other hand, actually is getting a tiny bit grey in the muzzle. And he's only 3 1/2 :(

My old girl Dutchess is getting even more grey this year, she'll be 8 or 9 this coming year.

And miss Courtney is coming up on 6, but her face is really starting to grey.
