I'm a little short on money recently so I'm wondering if I should sell one of my lenses.

What I have right now is

D7000
Nikon AF-S 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 VRII
Nikon AF 50mm f/1.4
Tamron 90mm f/2.8 macro
Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 macro (just arrived, will be picked up tm)

I really want to sell one but can't seem to bear to part with any of them. What should I do?

I'm really leaning towards selling the 50mm since the 28-75 already covers the 50mm range and it's relatively fast.

Otherwise I can sell my 18-200mm because I really don't like the bokeh or speed of the lens but the large zoom is useful... I don't use it all that much unless it's sunny and I want action shots.

Any other suggestions?? What would you do?

Do you seriously want it? Wait what camera are you using? This is the AF version, not AF-S so won't autofocus on D40, D60, D3000, D5000, D3100.

It won't be too cheap unfortunately. I'm really in need of money. I paid $320 for it I think. I'm selling it for $250 if a Chazzer wants it. Probably $285-300 if I throw it up on ebay.

How would I go about convincing you to hold this for me? I just got nailed with some serious dental bills and that's sort of killed any extra money I might have had for a bit. If you need to sell it ASAP, I totally understand.

Actually I would be more than happy to hold it for you because I don't really want to sell it right away yet. I haven't tried the 28-75mm lens yet and I'm not 100% sure on selling. However, if/when you do want it, send me a msg and I can probably sell it to you.

What are you using right now(lenses)? I actually have the chance to play with a D50 at the end of this week in exchange for lending my D7000 to a friend for a photoshoot. I'm never even seen one so I'm pretty excited. I know it's weird I'm excited about a D50 but not about a D7000 but I love older cameras. I find some of them actually out perform newer models.

I really rather love this camera, though I'm starting to outgrow it. I'm wanting to upgrade to a D300, hopefully sometime this year.

I'm using a Quantaray 18-200mm...it has it's uses but is rather worthless indoors or in anything resembling low light. Now, if you're going to shoot something stationary, like the moon, then it works pretty well set on a tripod and with a longer exposure.

I don't have any gold at all. I don't wear rings or accessories most of the time and I don't like gold. What few things (earrings, etc) I have aren't gold. The necklace I wear is just a pendent of silver and onyx, not worth any money to most.

Out of curiosity, what are you shooting with? Do you have a studio because your dog portraits always look so beautiful!
