she's destroying.....

hello everyone. I have a 1 yr. old rottweiler/lab mix. she's an adorable dog but it seems like we can't put her anywhere without her destroying a wall. We have to put the dogs away until i get home from school and during that time i guess she gets bored b/c she recently destroyed another wall.(this will be her 4th wall) Is there anything that i can do to make her stop doing this b/c if she doesn't my dad threatens to sell her. i don't want her to go.

P.S.--she does get toys to play with and we do cover up walls but there r just to many and we don't have that many gates or things to cover them up with.

You may need to get information on crate training for this dog. Rotties are diggers, and many Labs like to keep busy, so it may be the solution.

One of my dogs chewed when he was a puppy. He chewed on shair legs and even on a wooden bannister. Anyway,he eventually outgrew it, but while he was still doing it, we bought him a rubber kong, with a treat inside. That kept him ocupied.
