hi again.
haven't posted again but thought i'd share this.
it's so great to see so many people who actually share your enthusiasm for incidents like these :)
a few days ago..
my bag went home with all my washing, without me. result- pip spent a restless evening and night, making repeated trips down to the study to re-sniff, re-investigate his case of the missing me. he spent the entire night next to the bag, and the familiar scent. placing a value to things in a way that i could only try and imitate.
the next day i followed my bag home. after the few initial leaps and bounds on me expressing his joy at the rounding off of the 'event', he went back to pip-ing. all was well.
:)
