well... I've just become an independent consultant for Jamberry nails. I'm generally not into the home party thing but with the ability to host parties over facebook and my personal jamberry testimony... I really wanted to do this.

My testimony is that Jamberry is what helped me FINALLY kick my nail biting habit!!!! I've been bite free for over a month. it's a miracle lol.

I'm having a launch party right now on facebook to get me started and help me network a bit.

My website is http://www.tanyabeakes.jamberrynails.net and you can order through there and just select "Tanya's Launch Party" OR you can come and join us over on my facebook jamberry page and get the chance to win prizes as well :) If you want to join the facebook page let me know and I'll send you an invite :D

for those who don't know what Jamberry nails are... they are adhesive, durable nail wraps that come in over 300 different patterns, colors and styles and when applied properly they will stand up to an amazing amount of abuse :D

I want to order some! Gonna look at the different patterns with my sister and see what we like. :)
:) super. Warning... once you start looking you're hooked :rofl1:

I'm having a game going on my facebook party page https://www.facebook.com/groups/598164580287596/?fref=nf it's a chance to win a free accent nail sheet :D

OH I should also add that there is a deal right now where you buy 3 sheets and get 1 sheet free. Each full sheet of wraps is usually enough to do two manicures and two pedicures :)

i have always wanted gorgeous nails, but i cant abide the feel of LONG nails, and i keep mine trimmed VERY short, with only a sliver of white, and never past my fingertips

will these things work with very short nails?

Yes they will :) i applied my first wraps when my nails were literally STUBS!!! I would bite my nails down to where they were sore and bleeding and I wore my wraps like that until they grew out and even still they aren't very long. They work for any length, although you won't want to get any wraps where the design is very tall. Patterns, solids, polkas, etc will be your best bets :)

Can they be applied myself? Is there much of a learning curve? When I paint my nails I always have to have someone else do my right hand, as my left is clumsy at best lol

There is a video for how to apply them. It's actually pretty easy. I am like you and can't do anything with my left hand LOL not even brush my hair! But these are pretty fool proof. Just heat the wrap and place it in the nail and then firmly press it down onto te nail. Use a cuticle pusher or even a tooth pick (lol) to just press down around the edges of the nail and reheat one more time while on the nail and press firmly and voila. Just file off the extra :)

The video should help. It shows each step.

I am not sure how to find someone in your area yet but I will look into that for you :)

So... What DO you get for your money when you buy a Jamberry wrap? You'll be amazed. Each fullsheet has enough wraps to usually do 2 manicures and 2 pedicures (you can even extend the life of your sheets by mixing and matching). YES... you heard that right!!! For $15 you will get about 4 full uses. WHAT A DEAL!! The best part is, you don't have to wait for this party to close to get your Jams. They'll ship shortly after you place your order When you factor in our Buy 3 Get 1 Free deal... you can't lose. To order follow this link and click "SHOP" to choose your wraps http://tanyabeakes.jamberrynails.net/party/?uid=afd246d3-86da-4e2a-89a3-880c82b8148b

I put some jamberry strips on for the very first time yesterday:) My mom had bought some for my daughter and I. I am very interested to see how long they last and if I can keep from messing with them lol.

Awesome! The key to long last wraps is making sure you get the adhesive nice and hot and making sure you get a good seal around the edges. You don't want the wrap on any skin or the cuticle!
