I haven't been on here in a while, but wanted to come by and share some pics of my babies.

Hi Lauren.
I thought the Neo's were unique too, that's what drew me to them. They kinda remind me of those gargoyles that sit on top of buildings to scare off invaders in ancient times.

Funny thing is when I take him for a walk, people keep mistaking him for a shar-pei. A very big one.

Oh, I could truly find room for a neo. How big is he?

The standard calls for about the same as a Fila . . . just with a lot more skin, lol. The males look like they tend to run larger than a male Fila should though -- more like an English.

Size and proportion
According to the American Kennel Club (AKC) standards [1], male Neapolitan Mastiffs should measure 26–31 inches (66–79 cm) at the withers, weighing 150 pounds (70 kg), but can easily reach up to 200 pounds (90 kg) for larger males, while females should be 24–29 inches (61–74 cm) and weigh around 140 pounds (64kg). Body length should be 10-15% more than that of the height.
