I'll be thinking good thoughts that it is a one time thing and you will just spend the rest of your life wondering what it was. I will go with the crowd though and say it does sound a lot like the micro seizures my friend's dog used to have - right down to the going after another dog at the beginning of it.

I know dogs and people don't always do things the same--but my daughter's seizure are partial complex--repetitive behaviors while she maintains consciousness. And then she falls asleep--what you described with Dekka could certainly fit that description.

Thanks for all the good thoughts. She has been her regular self all day. Ran around Freehold's farm a bit with Elwood, Smudge and Cider (no jumping.. well mostly no jumping..)

Elegy.. getting a video is a good idea, but wow I was so panicky at the time and freaked out. Hopefully IF this ever happens again I will remember.

Ugh that's frustrating and scary! I have no advice but my first thought was also seizure based on what you wrote.

Lots of good vibes for Miss Dekka!

Sorry I didn't see this before......

It kind of sounds like seizures to me too :( I hope she isn't in pain.

Sending good vibes and prayers Dekka's way.

The video is a great idea. I tend to lean towards the seizure thing too, but hard to really guess.

How is he doing now? What did the vet told you about what happened?
