I just heard the interview on the radio coming home and feel just ill about it, They said it cost 32 thousand dollars to have your pet cloned..i can hear every pet recue and shelter groan..that much money for one cat..(they can't do dogs yet the eggs are more opaque but are working on it) dogs will cost more. They even gaurantee the result for looking like your pet, but say there will be subtle differences in personality. Mankind has gotton way to big for it's britches ... they had a website too.

$32 K Sheesh!! I bet there are people out there who will pay it though!! It'll soon be the must have celebrity who has more money than brain cells! I don't know why mankind can't just leave things alone!! Nature has an amazing way of working things out for the best!!

i wonder how many dogs and cats could be rescued for that amount of money..it makes me ill to think that someone could not turn loose..and i know how hard that is..i want to see Bronki so bad i cant hardly stand it, but even so..how can they be so selfish with their money as to take one animal and clone it, instead of saving how many? and bringing one home to grace their lives. Just knowing the price tag made me very very tired.

It doesn't matter what outer shell is brought back - I don't think the soul can be cloned! Once it's freed from the corporeal I doubt it can be summoned back to a particular shell at OUR whim, and isn't it the soul of our creatures that we love and that loves us in return?
