HE is no fool. 2 dogs in the same room. He no longer wants to be in the bedroom and claws at the door. So the Lion King is increasing his territory. I was petting him earlier and he didn't know but Victor was sniffing all down his back. Once he figured it out he hissed and huffed off but hopefully he learned something to.

Haha, the cat/dog dynamic always takes time for all pets involved to get used to! Finn and June were up and down with one another for at least a month before they settled into the relationship they have now. :)

haha I just came in with the dogs. THe Lion King has taken up residency on Hyia's desk chair. Victor walked right by without thinking...oh there's a cat. Sancho in the meantime has figured out that if he doesn't hiss Victor won't go OHMYGODWHATSWRONGWITHYOU? and dance about.
lmao
Pepper says "If i do not acknowledge there is a cat, there will be no cat. I see no cat I see no cat"...scoots by quickly. Somce cat in her past trained her well.

THank goodness Sancho doens't do what my old cat Elly did and swat them on the rear as they go past. Elly had Mary and her sister totally trained. Not one pup would walk past that cat. SHe did it every single time.

They'll get the measure of each other soon enough. Sounds like a pretty easy transition really!

I think if Sancho was so worried he wouldn't be parking himself directly in the middle of the room directly across from the front door. I think we are going to be all good now. THe dogs have walked by dozens of times with no reaction from anyone.

So glad Sancho is starting to feel at home. My cat Tiny still swipes the dogs when they go by; Tiny thinks he is the "dog" in charge!
