You guys had better like pictures
Sadie is my American Eskimo Dog who turned 1 in February. She is my first dog and she has changed my life. For a long time I was afraid of dogs but I slowly started getting over it, and then I saw this baby.
How could that ball of fluff be scary?
My husband said okay and we got her, and she's been amazing. Before I got Sadie I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and fibromyalgia, and since I got her both are 90% gone. When the computer programming company I worked for shut down, I decided to finally do something with animals and I started work at PetSmart in the PetHotel and now I am starting as a Training Instructor there.
Sadie was an ADORABLE puppy.
And she grew up into a wonderful dog! She loves to show off her tricks which include dancing, "bang", shake paw and high five, and she just learned to spin and roll over. Right now we're working on her picking up her leash and handing it to me.
A few weeks ago she got her CGC and we're doing some basic agility training. I had wanted to try to do therapy work with her but she is very shy at first and I don't think it would work out, but we still have time to see.
Photo time!
Can you spot the other spitz?
That's Lizzie, Dogstar's mittelspitz.
Sadie loves to splash in the water and get dirty, which I think is ADORABLE. Look how pathetic she looks wet. "Guys, why can't I come in?"
Playing Dead:
We live in Texas with two cats, oh and my husband.
