Im camping out in the laundry room with Roxy Tonight I have a sleeping Bag I use when on races and its well padded. I will be spending the first 5 nights of the puppies lives in the laundry room with the puppies just in case something happens. Its no that uncommon to do trust me im not crazy. Anyways I heading off to the Laundry room again anticipating puppy number 4 and others .

Thanks for the info about the solids. This is gapeach's husband. She fell asleep while I was checking Ebay. Fixing to get her off to bed, and just wanted to tell you congrats and good luck! I'm sure you will hear from her tomorrow. Hope you have achance to get some rest in between pups and postings.
Sorry all with the excitement of the last two I never got back to the computer. Roxy gave birth to two more little girls t a light red with alot of grey (she will turn completely grey) who weighed 350. She then gave birth to a grey/black female with beautiful eye markings she is the smallest of the bunch and the one to watch she weighed 325. Everyone now is resting Roxy is sleeping while the 5 new bundles of joy nurse. Im so excited im going to post a couple pics right now.
Roxy is doing great this is her third and final litter and she has probley so far been the most attentive with them. She's protective of them of course but is'nt TOO protective she will alow me around her more then she will Jamie. Which is ok during these first few weeks i want to keep contact between the puppies and other people and dog limited since their little immune systems are not built up just yet.
Im pretty tired now that I can relax im going to go take a nap (in the laundry room of course I camp out there for the first 5 days). Its mine and the dogs day off so its going to be rather relaxing today.

Congratulations !!!! I couldn't log on earlier so I've been on pins and needles!!! I too slept with my pups.....had a cot in the garage ( right off kitchen.) The 4th night decided to sleep in my own bed....when I went down in the morning the whelping pen was empty !! Roxie had carried all 8 to the cot ! ( by the way, the gentle head swing is when a pup has too much mucus to get with a nose pump....cradling the head and body in both hands and a gentle but firm downward swing will usually clear this out )

Love4Pits Sorry I missed the last three I wanted to stay up and find out what they were and all, just couldn't make it! I'm glad james stayed on some for me, that was sweet of him, I remember him telling me that the third was a girl, right before I went to bed. Glad to hear they're all here and babies and mom doing good.
