I lost one of my client dogs, about one hour ago. She's been coming to me since 2006. For the past year her health has gown down hill and the owners were debating on when it was time to let her go. She came in for her last appointment today and while she was here she went into respiratory distress, this happened while the owner was here, so she rushed her to the vets where it was decided in her best interest to let her go. The vet felt by the way she was breathing that it might have been some type of cancer.

She was a doll! I'll miss her. :( I'll be seeing her sister, Daisy Mae, at the usual every 5 week appointment. I hope Daisy wont be missing her sister too much. :(

Charline is the brown own. She was very much loved by her mom and dad, now they have given her the most difficult show of love and that was to set her free.

:( Sorry for your and the family's loss. I was wondering the other day how one of my dogs will act when the other one dies someday. It's so hard. I wonder if they understand what happens.
