His allergies get worse in the winter so I'm thinking maybe some dusts and such are causing issues? So I want to start doing more cleaning, and more thorough cleaning on a regular basis (I may die) to see if we can cut down on some of that. I'm also toying with the idea of buying a humidifier to cut down on how dry it is, which I read can affect winter allergies a lot.

Thanks in advance :)
Are you sure it's allergies and not dry skin? Have you considered a humidifier?
It could even be a combination of both, and the dry air just exacerbates the other symptoms. If you don't have a humidifier, I'd make that my number one list item for environmental change.
:p

Dry skin may be part of the issue, but I doubt it. This happens all year round, it just seems to worsen in the winter :/ Part of it I know is food, but I've pretty much figured out what he can and cannot have, so I know there is something more going on then just food. It's all very frustrating.

Thanks for the responses everyone! I definitely am going to take some of your suggestions and change the way I'm cleaning. And more cleaning. And a humidifier.

What about a HEPA filter? That would help cut down on the allergens in the air. I'm allergic to dust mites and a HEPA filter seems to help, esp when it's in the bedroom overnight.
