We had a patient at the vet I used to work for that had a blue tri color bassett hound. His name was "Blue" even. He was handsome.

In borzois any color is accepted, but nose lip and eye pigment should be black and eyes should be dark, so that makes livers and blue dilutes faults anyway.

silver is a dilute of red (chocolate/yellow)
blue is a dilute of black
so if someone breeds blacks & silvers they will produce blues
