I have had a lot of experience as a bather prior to my apprenticeship. I am now in a grooming apprenticeship that I've been in for two and a half months now. Everything was amazing at first. Now I'm being treated in a very questionable manner. Several things that bother me:

* I'm often talked down to. If I didn't hear or understand something she said, she'll say "What did I just say?!" She says other condescending things to me in front of other people, which only makes me feel worse
* She has cut my pay from what it was. I don't expect to be paid for education time, but I'm at the grooming shop for on average from 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. She only pays me for 5 hours, which would be fine if I was getting educated like I should be. She won't even hardly let me cut nails, even though I used to cut and dremel nails, bathe, and dry dogs everyday at my old job. I'm also the shop cleaner, and that's the only way I get paid for any of my work.
* She says I'm too slow, even though I'm going as fast as I can go. She overbooks dogs every day and she is always running behind even after all the dogs are bathed. I'm blamed for it, even though her running behind is not my fault.
* She won't let me even put dogs in their kennel when they arrive with their owners. I'm not allowed to talk to their owners at all.

Every day I come home with a sense of defeat. She makes me feel bad about myself. I've about had enough. I don't feel like I can even talk to her about it. What would you do? I don't want to quit, but I also don't want to be treated this way. Is it normal for a grooming apprentice to be treated this way?
