Q for raw feeders - smoked pork?

I've found some smoked pork pieces at one of our local supermarkets. Smoked hocks, necks and some other part I can't recall.

Are smoked pieces parts as dangerous as cooked parts (bones that is)? Smoking is generally done at a low temperature for extended periods of time.

There may be some added salt (brine) involved too.

Does anybody have experience with smoked pork pieces? They really made me long for a pot of beans but I was shopping for the dog.

I wouldn't use it as dog food. Make your beans instead!

Smoked isn't "raw" and no, I wouldn't feed it.

Smoking is still cooking and causing the bone to harden. IF the meat has been brined the sodium content will be high not really good for dogs

Ditto the above. It's still a cooking process and I would not feed those.
