Puppy's getting bald spots?

I've got an 11 month old long hair Dachshund puppy. Within the last week or so I've noticed he has a small but growing bald spot on his belly, and another one around the bottom of his neck where his collar sits. I haven't seen him itching it and there doesn't appear to be anything wrong with his skin underneath.

Any idea why he might be getting these spots?

Could be many things ......vet time !!!

Hair loss can be lots of different things. I would consider a Vet check first and foremost.

If the skin doesn't appear red or scaley that is probably a good thing

Ringworm, different types of mange, infections, allergy, fleas, allopecia...can all cause bald spots.

It could very well be nothing, but you need the vet to tell you that.
