Cross your fingers for me! Renee is going in tomorrow morning for puppy x-rays to see how many are in there. She's decidedly rounder, and quite uncomfortable. Her due date is the 28th, so a bit to go yet, but getting excited. We are clearing out the basement this week and setting up the whelping pen (which takes most of the room :rofl1: ). My mom's all worried as Renee was restless and uncomfortable for about an hour last night, but I suspect she's just feeling the end-of-pregnancy miseries.

My clinic isn't digital with x-rays yet (as far as I know - unless they changed recently), but I plan to photograph it to share :)

I'm all nervous and excited. Last litter there were 11 in there (10 live, one stillborn).

The photo is rather poor... I forgot the camera and got stuck using my cell phone :/ But there's a TON of puppies in there. The vet says 9-10 puppies, but there seemed to be 1-2 more heads up higher which might be puppies, or might be intestines... Whatever we look at it, we are definitely having a nice big litter.

And here's the very preggo lady:

I've decided to keep puppy buyers updated with a blog: http://wolfhoundpuppies.blogspot.ca/

It seems the easiest way to keep in touch with everyone without a million emails. My mom usually helps me, so we should be ok there. While a live "puppy cam" would be cool, I'm on limited internet :( No way I could afford to broadcast live for 10+ hours... Ah well. I will be taking and posting photos as puppies arrive. We always take markings photos right away anyway - not that they stay the same, but when you have a little girl in the house who thinks removing collars is fun... Wolfhound puppies are not all that different when brand new  We had several mild scrambles resorting who was who last litter thanks to my (then) two-year-old daughter. Hopefully this time she's old enough to listen when I tell her to leave the collars on.

One of these days I will get a real website up... I did have one for my horses for years, but haven't ever made a dog one.
