Okay guys I think this a a total laugh. I know a lady that purchase a Dob from a puppy miller. Now the dog has died. The dog was in the new owners hands for get this 5 days.

When the new owner took the dog to the vets the dog was in deplorable health. She had to put the dog down for as the Vet Stated Human Reasons.

Now a freind of hers bought a pup from the same breeder. That pup would be so ill that it ended up infecting her other dogs. This was the disclosure:

Cociddia, hook worm tape worms. Now the miller feels that everyone has wronged him and feels that he should have restitution. Now as we all know PUPPY MILLERS need to be $%%^^&&*& what adivice would you give these two people?

My advice is: Document everything, include photos if you have them, check out puppy lemon laws in the state, and report the miller to USDA, AKC and the local cruelty investigator.

Wrether hobby breeder or commercial breeder, he still has to have a state business license with tax i.d. reg. number and a kennel license. Report him to the Better business bureau, and check to see if there are previous complaints against him. There is also a form of "Puppy Lemon Law" now. Have them contact their city/county licensing dept. with breeders info. and request info on what laws apply in their area.

Was typing my response at same time summitview posted. She mentioned USDA... which does apply if breeder lives in a certain state. Completely forgot I'm not always talking to someone on westcoast! lol You should be able to look up their USDA licensing status with their last name or kennel name and state they do business in. From there, you'll find any complaints against him and if he's truly a "puppy mill", there should certainly be a few. Prior complaints, paperwork on puppy, pictures, and veterinarians report will get buyers money back (in small claims court) on pup that was euthanized and warrent a visit to his property from the county. good luck!

Thanx everyone: This person needs to be shut down. According to the two people I know had the dogs flown in from the States. The individual and or better recognised as Miller. Informed the Airline that the dogs were 8 weeks old and to justify the situation they were only 7.2 weeks old. The one pup that died had a major hernia that extended from the chest cavity to the belly button. It as well had ring worm all over the dog.. According to the breeder MILLER. The dog that died was 12.lbs when sent to the new owner. For some reason that does not calculate, The dog was weighed in at 4.2 lbs on his dieng day. The vet's conclusions were Parvo virus. Although now her other dog is being treated with the hook worm coxsidia and tapes as the Pup that was brought in was as well infested with fleas. I tell my freinds to do exactly what you all have provided. We can not beleive that the idiot is acting the way he is. He blames everyone else for his shananagan's. He seems to need some extensive help. I hope that the Spca and all of these officals can do something. How can you do this to people and at that the dogs????????????

idiot breeder

Well my freinds went to the local J. P's office. (JUSTICE OF THE PEACE) As the individual now wants to have them charged with can you get this Felony Fruad!!!!! GRRRRRR!!!!!
Now the JP stated that due to the evidence laid before him there was no suggestion that either of them had done anything to cause the individual to seek a criminal action against either of them.

His adament statement was for them to retain a legal advisor and nail the @##$$%%%%%$#$#@@!@ to the wall. Go and clean house. So the letter to the AKC has been drawn up. The letter to the better business burea as well as many letters shall be directed to the Mayor and city and or Town council along with the local SPCA and or Animal Control Officer. It's a done deal. Now were are ready to call the kettle the color it is BLACK. So I beleive that since we are all animal lovers and have a hard time with individuals of this sort to start up a petition therefore sending it to all City Officials that this is and will not ever be acceptable. Do it for Spong Bob and all the lost souls that are subject to the maddness. Why cause some one needs money!!!!!!!!

Well the breeder of these Dob's is now being investigated. There are a total of 2 reports sent to the Spca and two to the AKC. We are just awaiting the responses in the matter at hand.

Now we are as well retaining Legal Council and the subject will be delivered into the courts with in a week. You know it does not pay to be a byb and or puppy mill. When you take advantage of the dogs they own, the peoples money and their hearts. So I will keep you guys informed
