What do you guys think about the California Natural puppy formulas? When I got Auggie I didn't know much about food, so he was on Nutro Puppy... we put him onto adult Nutro after he got neutered.

I really don't know a heck of a lot about the differences in adult and puppy nutrition, so I'm not sure if Cali Natural is good to feed to a puppy or not. I would dig it if somebody could educate me on all this stuff. =>

Hahaha, you're excited already, aren't you... ;)

I got Cali Natural puppy formula for Finn. That awesome pet store I told you about recommended it as a good puppy food, and recommended I either stay on it when he's an adult or switch to another, grain-free food. I'm gonna see how he does on it.

ETA: Stay on Cali Natural in general when he's an adult, not Cali Natural puppy, of course. Yeah. >__O

I get confused with puppy/adult food too. puppy food always seems to have high protein, but then I've read a lot that puppies should have that much protein bc they'll grow to fast. But then there are breeders that feed raw, and that's all protein. Then there are certain adult foods that are or are not recommended to puppies but the ones that aren't will have puppy feeding instructions on them and the ones that are won't!

It's so confusing!

As far as cali naturals, I've heard a lot of good things about them. I've never fed it myself, so I can't give you any personal info about it.
