I can take one in, but I'm 10 hours north and would need a transport. Can anyone help?

These dogs are all scheduled to be put down Tuesday morning at the Spalding animal shelter in Griffon, GA:

Three month old lab mix, skin condition - WILL be euthanized Tuesday

Five month old female Lab

Litter of Aussie mixes.

Two year old Pittie - they will not adopt out, only a rescue can pull. :( My heart just breaks for him.

Four month old Rottie/Lab mix pup

And the rest can be seen here: URGENT DOGS

I know that animals are being euthanized in shelters all the time...but can anyone help make a difference for these pups? That Lab girl, especially, is just tugging at my heart.

I can take one if I had a way to transport it here. Are there any members in GA, TN and KY that could help?

If the route cuts through NC, I can help with a transport leg.

I can also take in one of the aussie mix pups to foster.

I just found the facebook site for these babies. They have a lot of people strugging to get them or help in anyway they can, so I think coordinating efforts with the peope already trying to get them is the best way to go!

From the sounds of it, the Pittie, Lab girl, and Aussie mix puppies have people trying to rescue them already.

I would like to adopt/pull the Rottie/Lab mix puppy, as from the sounds of it he doesn't have anybody wanting to help him. :( I still need transport help, though. The shelter will hold for five days after adoption for $6.00 a day.

Did you see these on the volunteer site? TRANSPORTERS
my suggestion would be to try and set up a basic route, and cross post on a couple dog forums. I'm probably too far northeast to help out ;) but I wish you (and those poor puppies!) luck!!!
