Cute, do you have a bit more about their history, like age, experence, what type of homes you are looking for etc

Goodness... please do the responsible thing and have your dogs fixed so that there are no more "accidental" litters, last time I looked a male retrieverish was not high on the popularity lists.

Please find good, quality homes for them and make sure they are all spayed/neutered before they leave or by their new owners.

I won't go into a rant about how many mixed dogs don't have homes....

It was her dog and her neighbors dog. They tagged on "adoption" because there's a fee and wants to find good hoomes for the puppies, which is great, but that's not a rescue by any means.

To answer you both...
The puppies are now 4 weeks old. We do have experience with raising puppies. And in reply to buddy's parents... It is adoption b/c I dont want to invite the unwanted. My dog went into heat 2 months early and there wasnt any signes of it. I do not have to spay... to spay would completely change my dogs personality. I do not want a debate on whether or not I should spay my dog I posted to see if Anybody wanted a puppy. :) I am very careful about not letting my dog about during her heat. It just so happens we moved across country to a place that was a halfway spot and she happened to go into heat early. I know of all the unwanted mix breed dogs but I also know of tons of unwanted pure breds. If your gonna tag one tag the other to.

If you want a puppy they are wormed and raised around youngsters and other dogs.

They should also have their first shots. You are a "breeder" of the pups and it is your responsibility to have then Vet checked and first shots before they go to their new homes.

Spaying will not change your dogs personality. And you can say how careful you are but if you were she would not have become pregnant.I hope you can find homes for these puppies.

I answered why im not spaying above ur post. Careful is this She gets locked away when in heat careful is I know her heat date. Careful is I keep her in a few days extra. She goes into heat sept and March. She want into heat 2 MONTHS EARLY. Also Above I told you it was a hectic time we were in the middle of moving we were at in a temp trailer while our house was built. She is a white dog and she showed no signes of being in heat.(I would have noticed she my best friend I spend lotsa time with her she aint some dog tied away and forgotten). If she had showed signes she would have been locked inside in diapers.

Its a proven thing that it removes there will to work.
The basic disposition and temperament of your dog will not be changed by removing his or her reproductive capability. Neutering a male can make him more tolerant of other males, but neither neutering nor spaying will by itself turn your dog into an obese, lazy animal... I'd love to see where it's proven otherwise, because I'm always eager to learn about canines.
Many owners with working dogs (myself semi-included. We don't have sheep at the house though :p ) can tell you that they're dogs are less likly to wander off and they don't have to worry about being careful, and they're excellent working dogs anyway ;)

As far as I know dog selling is not allowed on this forum. Whether you use the words adoption fee or for sale.

And you are mistaken if you think a dog/bitch will loose his desire to work if you have them altered. There are many working dogs that are altered and continue their jobs just fine.

Just wondering what a lab/retriever cross does for your sheep? Herding, protection or what?

Ok I live A few miles out of ava (Just moved her couple months ago) closest big city is Springfeild.... Mansfeild

being a lab doesnt mean they have to have specified jobs. My dog loves doing sheep stuff.

Ok enough on spaying u made ur point doesnt mean I agree with it. If you want to start a post on if spaying changes a dog do so ... Maybe I will post my opinion and links and so on but that is not what this post is about Ty for your concern. I just wnat to find homes for the puppies.

I didn't say being a lab means they have specified jobs......That is why I asked what your dog did for your sheep. I was curious and I still am.

How long was your dog off work for whelping and parenting her pups?

My dog Protects them(Lotsa coyotes). Being as I only have 2 I dont need her for herding. My dog has been of work for up a month before she welped up till All the puppies are weaned. We didnt wnat her out with them b/c your suppose to seclude a pregnant a month before and a month after birth. She isnt going back till the puppies are weaned.

As to me being a dictater of the thread I am 17 and I just dont want to keep explaining and explaining when I already explained.

Cute pups and I wouldnt mind being closer or I might take one.

Off topic, I own an alterred male so I dont know how long the heat cycle, but what do the sheep do while your dog is locked away?

I personably would be worried of a change in personality because I saw the effect on my stepmoms dog, but that was also an environment change on top of his alteration. He was not a working dog but the horses didnt take kindly to him trying to herd them.

For the future please check with the webmaster before posting adoptions.

*Edit* You allready answerred my question.

 Yeah that sounds like you were real careful. Bitches DO show signs of heat, at least two weeks of signs, not to mention the 3rd week they are ready to breed. It is a matter if there is someone monitoring them as closely as they should be doing. I am not one to push altering a pet if someone choses not to, for whatever misguided reasons (in this case) they choose, however I would hope the owner be more responsible and prevent pregnancies. Seems like this wasn't the case here.

Sorry Charlie, I know you ONLY want to hear from people interesting in buying your pups (not adopting IMO you are selling them), but hey post on a public forum, and you are going to hear the publics responses. By the way, bitches don't punch a 6 month time clock with their heats, so expect it to happen again, spay this time and save some lives why don't you.
