lol.. have you ever BEEN to a dog show before?? have you shown yourself at a dog show before??
Judges chose a dog based on its ability to physically match the BREED STANDARD, not compare their own opinions on which is "cuter" or "prettier".
The reason why differen't judges have different opinions is because you aren't always against the SAME dogs..
I never said cuteness, but judges DO have their own opinions of how they portray the breed standard. There is not ONE perfect dog out there that every judge of that breed will deem the "perfect" breed standard. Sure there is a guideline but the judge's have a picture in their head of what that breed standard looks like and they may see it differently.

O MAN Here I am tellig you not to push spaying onto my dog and there you go telling me to push it on my buyers. And I am making a liable contract.

Lexus the way you talk about people on this forum you are telling me there gonna lie to me? Wowser and once again nitpicking words. There is an adoption fee. Even if there wasnt I would have typed buyers der. As I said in a post several post ago I type in a rush its easier to type "buyer" than "adopter" and it makes more sense

I dont know if this was directed towards me but... I am not pushing it on you to say that your buyers should spay/nueter.
I'm only taking your own words. You had said that you want them to alter their dogs once the appropriate age hits. Therefore, I am only offering a suggestion that will be the only way to keep them from breaking their word.
What types of things do you plan on putting into the contract, if I am ask?

Very off topic indeed.

Not so much. We were on the topic of only breeding when your dog has all of its materialistic qualities of the breed "standard".
Since when were breeding dogs and humans having children under the same topic?

Well, you could use the word "breed children" because thats what women do. Yes, we form relationships with our young but does not make human "breeding" any different from any other type of breeding. Let us not forget the main reason for reproduction, to keep the species alive.

It is on topic actually because people say if you neuter/spay your dog you will decrease the amount of homeless dogs, to keep the dog population in control. Well, if I'm not mistaken I believe the human population suffers from poverty and starvation as well as dogs. So I was saying since spaying and neutering your dog "will" lessen the amount of shelter and homeless dogs, then "controlling" the human population ("altering" humans) will decrease the poverty this world has today. And only those humans "worthy" of producing quality children, should be the only ones allowed to have kids.

Personally, I'm ready to throw up .... my hands !!!! She comes in wanted to adopt these pups out for a fee ( ?), she's 17 , anyone with a female knows to watch for heats a month or so before due date. It sure didn't please me to have 8 beautiful pups taken before birth because of an irresponsible dog sitter . It hit me terribly... more in the heart than the pocketbook. Should this thread be locked or can there be any more in put to help these pups and this very young girl.

You would also know that hormones from the reproductive organs have NOTHING to do with growing. You need to grow up and act your age.
come on, are you serious? of course hormons influence growing, along with a lot of other things!
i also think there are studies about that exact topic somewhere suggesting that spayed/neutered dog do grow larger.

spay/neuter CAN change personality, anywhere from 0-100% so there will always be poster who say it didnt change personality and others who tell the total opposit, i dont think that is anything new......

anyway, only breeders should breed. if you dont want to spay do a vasectomy. there are no real reasons against THAT, are there?

personally i finally think spaying/neuter isnt that bad for a dog AFTER it is mature and finished growing.

btw riot. gorgeus dog but you say you are not a breeder so why show him??? doesnt that take away one place from people who really need this for bredding? or would you consider breeding if he is champion? or is it a commen thing just to show for fun?
i always thought that was a breeder-thing, so i am just curious.....

True, hormones is one of the most important aspect of growing and maturing.

I do have seen a study that spay/nueter dogs are larger. I have noticed that intact dogs tend to be lower to the ground rather than altered dogs.

I never said grow less, but I have noticed that altered dogs are taller. I have noticed that intact dogs are shorter and stockyer (sp), but not by a drastic amount.

How is that immature, IT'S A FACT OF LIFE. I don't understand why people try to fight nature, reproduction is for the sole purpose of keeping the species alive, and that IS a fact. Sure we have evolved but that still doesn't change the initial purpose for reproduction.

Now, that was immature. :D

Yet no one has posted regarding my comparison to "fixing" animals to "fixing" humans.

I have my beliefs you have yours I respect yours please respect mine. I will ask a Mod to lock if further Problems persist. This is nuts 10 pages in 2 days of fighting cant we just shake hands and get over it? TY
