I've been hankering after a puppy for about 2 years now but am holding off till my son goes to school. Even so, he is such a tearaway that I am concerned that he might ruin any puppy I get by simply playing too rough. Getting him and my daughter to follow through on NILIF and any other aspects of training (ignore him when he jumps on you, sit before eating, etc) is going to be a challenge.
