:yikes: 95% of her body? That poor dear! Look at her...
Ohhhh. . . My heart goes out to that poor girl. She's just breaks my heart. I wish SO much I could take that sweetheart but I know I can't. I hope so much she finds a wonderful home.
Oh wow. Poor thing. My neighbors had 2 labs with mange, and it was horrible. I've never personally had a dog with mange, but it seems painful. I hope she finds a good home. If I had a house of my own I'd already be on my way to AR to get her. When I get my own house I'm getting a rescue dog. I'm pretty set on a Greyhound, but I'll see when I get to the shelter. lol! Another breed or mix may steal my heart.
That just kills my heart. I'd take her in a second if I could. I pray that someone gives Mercy a lovely home for the Holidays and can find it in their heart to rescue a little girl like her <3
That is so sad I hope that someone can give her a home.
Oh my God. It saddens me so much how people mistreat an animal like this... and still, all they are looking for is love and companionship. I feel so lousy. Poor little girl....I wish I could help from here.
I know, me too. If Buddy were in a better place right now (health-wise) I would be in a better position to help her.
I hope someone can.
Everyone pray for Mercy.
That's sad. I don't know much about mange, but I'm under the impression it's fairly serious and pretty debilitating for the dog. If that's true, you'd think they'd wait till the dog was healthy to start advertising her for adoption, since she might have a less submissive personality when she's healthy.
Often times, pets do better when in a loving home rather than in a crate or cage at a vet's office...
I would agree, accept that instead of stating "often times", I would rephrase that as saying, "Most of the time." All pets need a loving home, and almost ALWAYS do better in that setting vs. a crate or kennel in a shelter.
Poor dog...shame on the morons who mistreated her!!!! I know I couldn't look myself in the mirror if I did that to one of my own.
Hopefully someone can find room in their heart for her.
