Hannah is not doing well. She is at the E-vets recovering from surgery. She bloated with torsion tonight. She is in critical condition. Please send some good thoughts her way.

Thanks everyone - I just called to check on her and she is resting comfortably. They have given her a large dose of pain medication because she was moaning. Her temperature was below normal so she is under a heat lamp and on a heating blanket. But she's resting and so far so good.

Keep us posted, poor Hannah. It's so scary and I feel for you. I lost a dog to gastric torsion and had a second scare with my dane and ended up doing a gastropexy. It's not a fun spot to be and I'll be thinking of you and Hannah both. She's in good hands and a lot of dogs totally recover.

On a second note I do not know what that link is in my first post on this thread:confused:!.

Seems like that link is a virus. I recommend removing, or not clicking it.

2 hits off my antivirus, listed as a low threat.

I am so sorry for both you and Hannah. Gastric torsion is one of my biggest fears and I feel awful that you are living this nightmare. Come on Hannah!!! You can pull through this!!
