We went strawberry picking Sat. (wasn't a great crop this year with all the rain we had) and Taylor was apparantly in the middle of cleaning and adding fresh water to Breeze's (ironic huh ) tank. Well, she put Breeze into a cereal sized bowl with the water of course. I didn't notice she wasn't done and was busy gathering up everything and both Tony and I, were shouting OK lets go and she must have just dropped what she was doing figuring on finishing when we got back.
Well, we came back and Tony was washing up the fresh vegetables and so forth when Taylor looks at the cereal bowl and says "Where's Breeze" The water was still in the bowl so I was looking on the floor to see if he flopped out or whatnot. Nope no fish in sight. The only conclusion we could come up with is FAGAN! darn cat. Taylor was crying and I told her that her fish had a long life (she had the fish for about 6 months) and she says to me, "Yeah but I wouldn't have wanted to be eaten by a cat!" She was upset with Fagan all of Sat. night and into Sunday and I tried to explain to her about their natural instincts. They've made up, but she says she's still mad.
It made a good opportunity to explain AGAIN why we can't have any gerbils, hampsters, rabbits, ferrets and now fish. lol
