Can anyone that is involved in a Pit Bull/all breed rescue pull this girl?

Petfinder Adoptable Dog | Pit Bull Terrier | Mansfield, OH | Zorah-RESQ ONLY

This is the shelter my past foster dog came from and they are filling up again rapidly and are going to have to start euthanizing dogs for space. They don't adopt out Pit Bulls, so the only chance this pup has of making it out alive is if a rescue pulls her. :(

I have been having puppy cravings lately, and I would love to foster her if a rescue could pull her.

They do have other Pitties there as well - some that are labeled as DA, some that are not. They're all adorable!

If you could find a rescue to work with you, I could deff pull & transport!!!!! I have family in Mansfield, and I got down there all the time. That pound :( is NOT a good place. Especially for pitties.

PMs go straight to my e-mail, and e-mails go straight to my phone. So, PM me if you can find anything out or need any help ;) Unfortunately, the rescue I work with doesn't do pitties ;) Just cockers :p

Yah, the problem is trying to find a rescue to work with. The one I am a short term foster for only does Labs. Which is why I'm really hoping someone has some kind of connection with an all breed/pittie rescue.

Gah. So frustrating. I really want to get her out of there. :(

Oh - and, there is a purebred cocker listed as rescue only because he is male dog aggressive. If your rescue is interested, and can take on a dog aggressive dog. Easier said than done, I know. lol

Ugh, I know. :( There is one at the Mahoning county pound, too... that may have bit someone due to ear infection. The rescues are working together to see what they can do, but its hard to get fosters for dogs like these, and even harder to adopt them out.
I think someone plans on going out to temperament test to see how "aggressive" they actually are.

I don't know any pittie rescues, I wish there was someway I could help. Have you shot any e-mails out, maybe?

I wouldn't even know where to start. I googled for Pittie rescues here in Indiana, and three came up and they are all full to bursting, and I'm unsure if two of them are even active any longer. I may email just in case, but I don't have any high hopes. I remember trying to find a rescue awhile back for some reason (maybe for a friend's dog, before she talked her parents in to keeping her...) and I kept hitting dead ends.

I remembered that we had two new rescues open up near by, so I emailed them to see if they could help. They crossposted for me, and a small family run Lab rescue in KY is very interested in pulling her as one of their foster families just lost their senior Pittie and was looking to adopt/foster a female pup!

I'm hoping we can get everything worked out and that she'll be safe. :)

The shelter just had two more litters of Pit Bull puppies in need of rescue. :(

I've been in touch with a rescue who is in contact with a Dober rescue in IL that may be able to help out - but seven puppies is an awful lot for one rescue to take!

(Supposed to be one more brown/white one - one male, one female - and you can see the 5th pup's butt in the very corner of the one picture.)

If they can help out, we'll need transport help from OH to IL. Any takers? These pups need out of there. :(

I know this is totally a pittie thread, but I wanted to tell you that Cherished Cockers pulled both cockers (one at Mahoning and the other one at Mansfield) :D :D And they're both doing great so far (no issues / aggression whatsoever) :D :D
