I have a 4 1/2 year old Shi Tzu that is a perfect gentleman. We use piddle pads because we travel a bit and it is very convenient. I got him a little housemate about two months ago....a little Yorkie. Adorable little pup BUT doesn't recognize the piddle pads are for his potty. These things have a scent to attract the pup, but it's not working for this little guy. The Yorkie was 14 weeks when I got him and he just turned 6 months old. He was coming along then about 12 days ago, he did an about face. He does go to the piddle pads some and I do the praise and treat thing, but he misses more since his about face. Just about every time I leave the room, which is gated off, he will potty right in front of the gate. When I'm in the room, it's hit and miss. I've teathered him to me before and he doesn't do anything all day when he is tied to me. I called in a dog trainer and I've done everything she taught me to do. I just ordered two of Ceasar Millano's DVD's. GAWD!!! I am so frustrated, I don't know what to do...BUT...I will listen. Does anyone have any suggestions?
