Hehe lol a lot of hamsters I have met have not been too nice. I was lucky with the 4 I have had over the years, I'm sure she'll get used to it when she gets settled in though. She's such a pretty girl!

i am glad to see you got it a nice cage and not those too small crappy cages people usually keep them in.
cute ham ham by the way. however i am sad to say in all my life of having ham hams and being around them... i have only met one nice one. a hairless male hamster named Piglet

Cute; I love hamsters even though they can have an attitude.

Throw some bedding in there (paper towels or toilet paper) so he has a nice soft place to lie down;he'll love it. In case you want some info--I find a 10 gallon is really nice for a lone hamster; very easy to clean too, and draft-free.
Pretty color.

Oh and about the pooping thing......I didn't think they pooped in the beds?
She has pooped all over inside her little house that is packed out with bedding :(

Hamsters poop EVERYWHERE. And urinate EVERYWHERE. They have a very strong urine smell so that cage needs to be cleaned weekly. Gerbils smell much less.
