what kind of paint did she use? do you know? I can't think of one that would stick. Do you still have any? What a neat thing for her to do. She was an easter bunny at heart! I have a plastic english walnut that was my treasure (I was about 5) and I loved walnuts, anyway I still have it because of the memory that my mom went back to the theater where I had lost it, and got them to unlock the door so I could get it back before it was gone. I love my plastic english walnut. It sits on the window sill of little treasures.

I do still have some of the eggs - probably all if not most. I think she probably used oils, since that is all she used until I was grown and she started using some acrylics for different things.

I like your story about the walnut. Have you reminded your Mother of how much it meant to you that she went to such lengths to get it back? I know sometimes when my Mom is driving me nuts I can think of a memory like that and share it with her and it completely defuses the tension on both sides - it reminds both of us of what's important and lets us drop the petty stuff.

Problems

When I tried to put a pic in the member gallery it said "The file you uploaded was not an acceptable format.: Sierra.psd " how do I fix that?

If I'm not mistaken, picture formats have to be jpegs.

make sure it is the right size too! I reduce to 300 and that seems to work

Your Sierra photo

Try either renaming the photo Sierra.jpg or go into your photo program and resave (save as - not save) the photo as Sierra.jpg make sure it's "save as" jpeg.

I bought our St Patrick's stuff yesterday at dollar planet..anybody else got their dogs ready?
