My pug had bladder stones removed in Oct. of last year and the dr. said she needed to be on a diet with a certain Ph level (I believe 6.2-6.4) Of course the vet has food for this to sell but its very expensive. Does anyone know of any place or brand of dog food I can buy besides the stuff the vet sells? The stones were comprised of Strivite (sp?)

    Thanks in advance,
    Kaz

I have no idea. Does it suppose to say the ph level in every single bag of dog food? By the way, how did your dog get stones?

you can contact manufacturers and ask what urine PH their food produces. i think solid gold might have what you need, if memory serves me right. shoot them an email, the address is on their website at www.solidgoldhealth.com :)
