Pet Services Industry Stats: WHERE ARE THEY??!!!

Hi everyone!

I am starting a home based dog training and boarding company next year and am currently building my business plan. I need to show my potential investors actual numerical data that shows the financial growth of this industry. I have been researching various websites for nearly 2 months now and cannot find any listing that relates to pets at all. Even such a common field of work like Veterinary Medicine is not listed as a separate industry on any list I have found.

Any stats on Pet Care, Pet Services, Vet Services, Dog Training?!!!!! These aren't listed as industries anywhere I've looked. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I can get this information??????

I have been to 2 business counselors who were not able to find anything either.
