Justa, did you work for C&D back when Royal Canin discontinued their Sensible Choice? OMG, I'm pretty sure some people just starved their dogs to death after that, they must have, because that was ALL THEIR DOG COULD EAT!!!! And then it was gone. So, obvious conclusion was that their dog could eat nothing else, and thus starved to death.

Oh my goodness, yes! That was horrible. I had people that had an absolute breakdown in the store.

Reading this thread makes me wonder why I don't just try to find a 9-5 office job. Animal people are ca-raaaazyyy! Obviously, I am not one of those crazy animal people. :p

"By products are a high quality product and are natural for your animal because in the wild, animals eat by-products."

"Raw is unnatural, unhealthy, and dangerous to feed your pets."

....right. Because my cats eating uncooked, unprocessed mice is unnatural. And if a cat gets along just fine eating raw, wild mice (besides the occasional worm problem), how is a cat going to endanger his family by eating preselected, high quality, worm free raw meats?

Does not compute.

Some days a please and a thank you would be really, really nice.

I'm also super annoyed at this place we get fish and animals from off and on. We've had issues since the first time we used them, and every time we order there has been some sort of issue. I keep telling my boss please, never again, but eventually she breaks down and wants to do an order. Maybe the sick animals (again) this time will be the breaking point.

"I need an organic food."
Ok, we only have one of those.
"I thought you carried healthy foods."
Yes, we do... those two words are not synonymous!
"Ok, fine then what do you have that's healthy?"

...

I had one this morning.

Me to client checking out from her annual appointments with her two dogs who each received a bajillion vaccines plus bloodwork: "Your total is $306.70"

Client: "How much?! Was that with one of the exams free?!"

Me: "Yes, they discounted the price of one of the exams, $44."

Client: "And it's still that much?!?!"

Me: "Yup."

Client: *sighs and grunts something inaudible to her dogs* "Well. I guess it was nice of them to discount the exam price."

Me: (obviously in my head because I don't quite want to get fired) OMG Of course it was NICE of them to give you an exam for FREE because you b****ed about the price the whole time you were here. Don't have two dogs if you don't want to pay for their care!!! BE HAPPY YOU GOT A DEAL AND SAY THANK YOU.

I pay that much or more for one dog when I have to take him to the vet...and that's only for a check up and medication!!
