I have a friend who won't let her daughter visit with her new lab.......... I keep referring to it as her " grand-dog" as she doesn't have any grandkids and never will. I love her, but boy is she missing out in life !!!! It's funny as 10 years ago I visited her with Bubba for 2 days and never knew she felt this way ! Of course he was a gentleman and she seemed to enjoy his visit. Maybe she's comparing him to the lab ( who is young )
