I dunno, but I really really really want her. *sigh* She's perfect. High drive, smallish size, but still larger, gorgeous.... If only I could have another right now! Maybe in a year they'll have another one like her.
Yeah, you NEEEEED her ;) :D Plus, I want to see more pictures of her.

My sister in law has a dog that looks just like that, and she's a pomeranian/chihuahua/terrier mix. She's 7 months old and about 14 inches tall at the shoulder, I think.

She looks a lot like my youngest BC, Dash. I'd definitely bet on Border Collie.

I miss you Bella

I had a dog that looked just like Her!!!!!

I miss her so much :*(

She was quiet, rarely barked, had a very sweet disposition, was very passive until you grabbed the tennis ball then it's game on! She was quick as lightning and very attentive. She was a bit territorial with my other animal at first but after a week they were playing with each other fine. I adopted her then got a call a bout 8 days later from the shelter saying that the owner was looking for her, her parents were older korean people who had a strange notion that the dog was going to make them sick. The owner left the dog with them for a week and while on her vacation, her parents surrendered the dog, and I adopted her only after being there for a few hours at the shelter! it was meant to be! I actually cried after they took her away in their car, but it was the right thing to do. She was 3yrs and had been with them since she was a pup.

She was very smart, was fine off leash, responded when called to and loved to sleep at the foot of my bed. Very educated animal.

She had medium lenth hair and almost the same face as that dog. a long, bushy tail to boot. she only weighed 15lbs and was long-legged like that dog. I hope I can find a dog like her again some day....

Border Collie and Papillon are my guesses, but the owner said one of those dna test things said she had Spaniel in her. but I don't think so, too tall and the ears don't droop. I bet the papillon is why the spaniel popped up though.

It's Sweetie again. In case you missed her first thread here's a bio: She was pulled from a shelter in Oklahoma. A little about her- Her name is Sweetie and she is 10 months old approximately, spayed, and a whopping 15 inches at the shoulder already! She is kind of aloof in nature, but very snuggly once she warms up to you. She's a big chewer, very smart and always into something. She is also VERY high drive and very active, so her foster mom is looking for a sport home for her preferably. She'd definitely be good at agility or flyball!

We're kind of wondering if there may be something like a bit of BC in there too.

So, mixed breed or just a very big papillon?

My guess is actually Papillon/Sheltie mix. Which would be funny given your family's breed choices. But her muzzle, stance and expression say Sheltie to me.

No guesses, but that tail curve...do paps have that?

But what a distinctive and beautiful dog! Who ever adopts her is sure to have lots of questions from admirers! I would love to see her jumping for Frisbees.

Oh wow! She's beautiful. :) I think papillon/sheltie would be a good guess too. Papillons are spaniels, so that's probably where the spaniel came in.

Yep, papillon tails curl over their backs most the time. They hold them down sometimes and many times when down they have a sort of crook in their tail.

Papillon/border collie

I think you definitely hit the nail on the head, I think Sweetie is a Border Collie/Papillon mix. I just recently adopted a Boder Collie/Papillon mix and she looks almost exactly like her.

I don't even know if I'd guess pap...but the likelyhood of mixed pap around here is slim.

Maybe pap border collie...or border collie X something spitzy, like an eskie or pom?

How big is she? I actually could see all papillon in yours if she's not too big (25 lbs and under).
