Two elderly dogs in the Dallas, Texas, area will soon be losing their beloved guardian who is dying from stage 4 pancreatic cancer. The dogs, "Jess," a 14-year-old male, and "Daisy," a 13-year-old female, have just a few, short months before their person is gone.

The woman who is looking at the end of her life wants one thing before she is gone - to know that her dogs are safe and in the care of someone who will show them love for the rest of their days.

Jess and Daisy's guardian has shared a few details about her beloved companions.

Jess, the 70-pound male, is described as a:

Kind, lovable, Jess is a big galoof! He enjoys meeting new people and animals. He is showing signs of aging, getting deaf and having problems with his back legs, but otherwise enjoying the simple things in life. He loves walks!

Information shared about Daisy, the 45-pound female:

Daisy patrols the yard to ensure it is squirrel free and lets us know when the mail man or UPS is out front.

However, come thunderstorms, she is a wet noodle. Yes, she is one of those that shivers uncontrollably, even with medication, and tries to dig a hole in the carpet. Once the storm has passed, she is good to go.

Both dogs are current on their vaccinations and are already altered. Jess has Addison’s Disease which requires daily medication and monthly injection

Though it would be wonderful if the dogs could find a home together, their guardian knows that it may not be possible. She would be happy just knowing that they each found their own new family - even if they are apart.

The dogs' guardian shared the following plea for her long-time companions:

Jess and Daisy have been with me since they were pups and are absolutely the loves of my life. But I’m really desperate and need your help.

They’re good, good dogs and will give someone countless love and devotion in their waning years. Please help if you can. Thank you.

Anyone with questions, or who can help, is asked to email: [email protected], or [email protected]

Thank you for taking a moment to try and help this family.

i wish i could help , can anyone of you help?
