You will not believe this! You're prayers payed off! Here's what happened...
My husband's half sister (the step-dad's and his mom's daughter) told her counsilor that her daddy had drugs in the house and mommy didnt allow that when they lived in the same house so why was it ok now? Well the counsilor called child protective services who called the cops. My husbands step dad freaked out, stole a relative's car, and took off. He's on the run heading west, he called yesturday from Nebraska!! If, no, WHEN they catch him he'll be charged with child endangerment, possesion of drugs and drug pariphanelia, running from the cops, and possibly stealing a car! We are going to Justin's mom's on saturday or sunday and we'll find out if Sparky is still at her house or if she's at his new rental house, either way she's been abandoned and I have full intentions of bringing her back home with me! She's not out of the woods yet, so keep praying. I'm just hoping she is at my mom-in-laws house because if she's at HIS house the cops might have already taken her to the shelter in a town or two over, and a 10 year old dog whos never been in a house doesnt have the best chance if just thrown into a shelter. Keep praying! If I bring her back here, and explain the problem to the local humane society, do you think they'd help me pay to get her spayed and vaccinated? I dont think we can keep her (but I'm keeping my fingers crossed) but I'm sure we can foster her til we do find a home for her. WOOHOOOOO......Operation Save Sparky has tipped in our favor! I'll update saturday or sunday when we're back from my mom-in-law's house.
