I'm curious. Will your next dog be the same breed as one you already own or have owned, or do you aspire to own lots of different breeds over your lifetime? If you have more than one dog at the moment, are they the same breeds or different?

I always thought I'd want lots of different breeds, but I'm getting very attached to Wheatens! If I ever have another Westie it won't be for a very, very long time as they couldn't ever live up to McKenzie.

What a fun question! I have breeds that I dream about having one day...but I always end up with just whatever comes my way. I think it'll always be that way :)

Besides a couple of mutts I had as a kid, I've only had Chihuahuas. I like breeds that look cute and fluffy but the grooming would take the fun out of having a dog for me so I stick with the breed I know best and that's the least work, at least in the grooming department

As much as I can I wanted to have all the breeds if it would just be possible. If I can have 1 of every breed in my home, I'm sure my home would be messy and chaotic, but would also surely be fun.

There are many breeds of dogs, you need to choose a breed which is best suitable as per your environment and as per your facilities. Now a days Cross Breed Dogs are the best suitable dogs which contains 2 different types of dog breed characters. where strength and Health is most important thing. i got some details from Pomskies Dogs

Besides a mutt as a kid also, I've only had chihuahuas (I'm on my third one). I'd like to get a different breed but afraid of what I may be in for so I stay with what I know, even though within the same breed there are lots of differences in personality and temperament.

I have always had poodles or poodle mixes except my last two breeds have been shi tzu/Maltese. They have proven to be the best tempered, loving and adorable animals. My poodles Ihave had a couple of mean natured dogs. Although they are very much one person dogs, it is stressful to have a dog you cannot trust....shi time/maltese wins out for me.

I've owned 10 dogs in the past 12 years (I didn't get a dog until I was 26, I always wanted one but my family was no-dogs!). Not one of them has been the same breed. Several have been mixed breeds, but of the purebreds, I've owned a Rottweiler, a Saint Bernard, a Pug, a Pomeranian and a Presa Canario. There are many breeds I would still like to own eventually, but I would probably get another Rottweiler or Pug too.
