Stays in my bed while I go pee and turn on my coffee . Gets up when he hears me add sugar to my cup . ( dog treat ) . Back to bed until he hears me get my second cup .... ( another cookie ) then he stays up . It's 11:30 here and I'm ready for my 2nd cup ! What a funny boy !

my dogs are always the ones waking me up. Ruckus gets on the bed and gets about three inches from my face and just stares at me. i can feel him stare and breathe on me. when i open my eyes his tail starts wagging 1000 miles an hour.

Lynn jumps on the bed and licks my face. Luckily they do it just a few minutes before the alarm and not at odd hours during the night.

Funny how they get onto such a routine. My dogs tend to stay in bed too, until quite some time after I've been up. Jose`....being the mama's boy, most often will get off my bed and come in the den with me and finish his sleep on a blankie next to my chair. I drink my coffee and sign onto Chaz and he goes back to sleep. LOL. He does prefer to be right near me most of the time. But the girls will snore away for an hour or more after I've gotten up. But I get up early.

Suzie sleeps either outside or in the house on the couch or the rug in the living room. She won't get up until she sees me, and that is with 4 other people in the house. I love her.

Harley has a very similar routine in the morning, waking up with the first person but returning to bed shortly after until the other gets up!

aren't they funny? My guys get all worked up when I make any kind of move around 4:30--they know dinner is soon on the way. I don't say a word...but boy do they know!
