I know im a breeder and i have puppies around every spring but its different when you get one as your own pet if you get what I mean lol. I put Pakak in a crate last night I did'nt want too but I was trying to avoid accidents and its how I do train puppies their night time manners. I keep his Crate in my room where i plan on keeping it until he no longer needs it. So I put him in there late last night after he dozed off in my arms. I figured he would be fine since he was pretty out so i picked him up and put him in his crate. Oh my god was it like tripping a alarm when I latched that door  ! He started off with this horrible screeching howling noise and carried on with it. I knew I wasent going to be able to sleep with him in my room like that so i moved his crate into the hall way anouther way of teaching him his manners even though he was breaking my heart. He had toys and a nice puppy bed in there and a couple treats but I don't think he ever even noticed them lol. He screamed all night I think or until I finally fell asleep.

Oh no my puppy experience hasent stopped there lol. I let him out of his crate this morning and got everything prepared for breakfast (theirs not mine lol). I made Pakak up a bowl of kibble and some bits of meat into it that i rubbed down with some veggie mush. I put the bowl on the ground and there goes his front paws into the bowl and there goes the food on the floor oh and by the way he also did this with his water dish lol. Oh the joy of a puppy lol.

And so it came time to let the dogs outside for their morning "ritual" lol. so i leashed Babe and Pakak since neither one knows to stay in the yard. While i was waiting for Babe to go do her thing and Pakak was done he decided while we were walking around to attack my feet and trip me lol. The joy of a puppy.

So I did my runs for the day and had to leave Pakak in his crate just so if he accidents they are in the crates and also so he could'nt get into anything harmful in the house and also just in case their was a disagreement among him and one of the older dogs. When I got home he had chewed up halph of the plastic pan at the bottom of the crate lol. The Joy of Puppy

Now i don't want anyone to think he is constantly in a crate. He goes through this just for now until like I said he learns his manners. Lol i know I can complain now but i love him so much already I forgot how much i missed these puppy ways lol.

You need one of those puppy carriers that fits over your shoulders. I can see you out on your morning runs with that furry little face peering out thinking "I'm gonna be the LEAD DOG someday, just wait!" I wonder when he'll figure out that he's going to be bigger than the others. That's always funny when it dawns on them. You are going to be having SOOO much fun! [sigh] Part of me dreads having the girls bred - I'll be worried to death the whole time - but part of me is looking forward to those roly-poly little wrinkley balls of trouble. I just KNOW Shiva's pups will be nothing but trouble from the very beginning . . .

LOL! I just pictured that and I can't contain my laughter. :D :D :D :D

I had to leave Brady in his crate a lot at first too, so I understand. They get used to it, and it really helps to train them.

Everytime you put "the joys of a puppy..." at the end of your sentence, I thought that was great and so on the mark. You love them, but they are definently work.

It's funny - those kisses are still great - even when the puppy is big enough to pin your shoulders back to the chair and hold you still while kissing! They just think that is the best game of all, and I have to agree!
