Sooo..... through REI Outlet, I can get a pair of VFFs for 20% off.

I can either get....

These for $40 (originally $75)

These for $44 (originally $85)

or THESE for $64.00.

WHY I WOULD WANT EACH OPTION:
Option 1: I don't have this style yet, and they're cheap
Option 2: I like this color, but I already have them in black
Option 3: THEY ARE LEATHER, come in brown or black, but I do have them in black fabric already. ***If I go this route, should I get black or brown?***

I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!!!! The sale is unbeatable, so I want ONE pair. I just don't know WHICH pair to choose! Help?

Apparently the leather ones ARE machine washable. What color - brown or black if I go with leather?

There you go ladies - apparently it works for everyone. If you want VFFs at a CRAZY CHEAP price, there you go. :)

When I was checking out the leather ones before, I found a lot of reviews that said they were less durable...something about the leather to cloth or sole to leather interfaces not being as reliable.

That was at least 6 months ago so maybe they fixed the issue...just an fyi

Oh man! I had JUST decided last night to finally get a pair.....but was going to wait a bit...SO tempting.

Ok, I know you really need to try them on first, but for someone with a size 8 (short foot/toes) what size in general? My mom and I are both 8's but some 8's are too small for her and still fit me so I guess I am a "snall" 8?

My pick is for #1, the style you don't have yet. Also, for me I have KomodoSports and for my next pair I want one with a thinner sole and no lugs; I think the lugs on 3 are more gimmicky than practical.

My vote is: Buy me the blue KSOs. My original pair is juuuust starting to wear down after aa year and a half of use, and I am so **** sad that they got rid of ALL the colours.

I'm no help. :rofl1: Well, yes I am: several friends own the Treks and swear by them. Most comfortable pair they own and amazeballs for hiking and rougher terrains. I'm considering a pair.

... and I just read that you already own a pair. Disregard!

stardogs: yes, the Treks are machine washable!

OK I ended up getting the blue KSOs and the brown leather Treks. Blue because DAYUMMMM I like those blue ones! (And KSOs are so versatile, why NOT own two pairs?)

I go the leather ones because i don't have a leather pair yet. I'm intrigued!

Decided against the Classics because Classics are always on sale, and if I get a pair I want them to be Smartwool ones. They'd just be for around the house, and arund the house I just go barefoot.

Finally got to where I can check the link...the grey/purple KSOs are calling my name...I got my "test" pair of KSOs last December for about the same price but could only get them in a clay camo pattern...I really like them but boy are they extra ugly lol...
